This guy was on TV during the 90's doing infomercials, get rich quick schemes. Anyone watching TV during the day when people usually have a job to go to would be familiar with this fellow. Considerably less annoying than email spammers, but annoying nonetheless.
October 2, 2011 he committed suicide while in prison. He was facing over 40 counts of fraud and whatnot.
He was about 2 years older than me. Seems to me the guy could have held on a little longer. Just to see how the whole thing played out.
